We are selling a Highly Customized, 2012 1/2 Harley Softail Slim, This bike won the Willie G Davidson award in Sturgis for "Best use of Genuine Harley Parts and Accessories" in 2012. The last picture in the ad shows the Black Bike as it was purchased. All other pictures are the actual bike, not a brochure. You will NEVER see another one like this!! I am rushing to get the ad done so I will be brief. The bike has a 103" motor with performance cams, dual exhaust, custom wheels, custom 2-up seat with Driver backrest(all alligator with orange stitching), all custom sheet metal and Custom Paint By Paragon Customs. The paint is White Magnolia Pearl and Sedona Orange with lots of custom touches. It runs a Memphis Shades Fairing which is painted to match of course. It is also fuel injected and has a 4" velocity Stack. It was featured in a local Calendar which I could provide a copy to the buyer. Lots of blacked out items with chrome accents. All I got for now. Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India
Fri, 18 May 2012India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
Zero Motorcycles Named to Made in USA Foundation Hall of Fame
Tue, 03 Jul 2012The Made in the USA Foundation has named Zero Motorcycles to its 2012 Hall of Fame class, recognizing the electric motorcycle manufacturer’s commitment to American manufacturing. Zero Motorcycles, founded in 2006 in Santa Cruz, Calif., by former NASA engineer Neal Saiki, becomes the second motorcycle manufacturer named to the Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Harley-Davidson was inducted in 2011.
