I am the first owner. Bought in 2006 at Barbs HD, West Collingswood,NJ. My FLSTC has the standard Windshield,Road lights,Saddle Bags,Sissy bar. The motor has the HD Power Commander with disk, Up Grade Air Filter and Python Slip ons.The horse power has been increased, but I can not remember by how much. Sorry. Hyway bars Front and Rear, up grade floor board chrome covers, shifter upgrade pads,Handle bar Risers 4" up and 1" back, Mustang Seat with Drivers Back rest, Over Size Pass. seat. Bib under for Solo Seat riding, Chrome Grips and Levers. New Metzeler Tires and Brakes. about 150 miles on them. Bike Lowered 2" Front and Rear. Have most of stock parts. Botton Exhaust Pipe is extended to meet Top Rear Exhaust. Other chrome parts on bike also. Has a standard 6 speed trans with indicator for 6th.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico

Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.

46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012

An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
