Harley-Davidson Softail description

For Sale by Fixed Price OR Best Offer is my 1999 Harley Davidson FLS Fat Boy with Flaming Skull Paint (with sunglasses). The paint job was professionally done and has a very smooth finish. Obviously, multiple coats with sanding in-between. I took close ups of fenders, gas tank etc. This bike is dripping (tastefully) with almost every Harley Davidson piece of chrome available. Toe Heel Shifter, Turn Signals, Headlights, Floor Boards, Gas Caps, Grips, etc. see pics for close ups and enlarged photos for best view. This bike has been well maintained and has never been dropped or laid down.

I bought this as part of a larger bundle deal but my wife says "NO!" to riding it. A few years back, my blood sugar was astronomically high one day and I blacked out while riding another motorcycle so she said that was the end of my riding days. But she never said I couldn't buy one!!! By the way, please check out my other items for sale as there is also a 1996 HD Low Rider with only 13K miles also listed for sale, completely original and in excellent condition. But back to the Fat Boy.

The bike runs great and I have taken it around the block a few times (after checking my blood sugar...seriously!) and it is one cool bike. Sounds great and shifts smooth. Back tire is definitely ready for a replacement, but all else is in proper condition. Left hand mirror is missing due to over torquing the nut for adjustment. Mirror is in one of the saddle bags.

If you have any questions, please email me and I will add all questions and responses to the listing. If you would like to have a friend come and look at the bike, that is fine, but no joy rides. If you'd like to call me for a FaceTime walk around, my number is 270 872 7507. I am on Eastern Time and I live about 45 minutes south of Louisville, KY.  If you need a close up of any particular area of the bike, just let me know.  And by all means, take advantage of the Best Offer option if the fixed price does not suit you.

Just in time for Sturgis!!

Gymnast on a Harley….Wow.

Mon, 23 Mar 2009

What happens when you take away a smokin’ hot gymnast’s balance beam and replace it with a Harley-Davidson Fat Bob? It’s only 30 seconds but who’s to stop you from playing it over and over again? Now what would be even more amazing is if there was a dude riding that bike on the highway while she did that.  What would be a million times more amazing would be if that dude was me.
