Harley-Davidson Softail description

We have for sale a Motorvation Sidecar for a 1998 Heritage Springer. This auction is only for the sidecar. It has a 5 gallon auxiliary gas tank that sits in the trunk of the sidecar. The sidecar is not in "perfect" condition, it has a few scratches on the rear and a few on the side. On the rear trunk lid it appears as though there is a little bubble that has formed, not sure from what. It does not look like it is going to crack the paint, but almost as a manufacture defect.

It comes with all the attachments and the installation manual from Motorvation. I also have the matching cover that snaps on over the seat as well.

It looks very sharp and is in good condition, it has been stored for a bit, and we just don't use it anymore. Brand new it was close to $8000

Sidecar is being sold as-is with no warranty, I reserve the right to end the auction early. For any questions please message me.

Harley Riders Wear Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

The Harley-Davidson family of riders and fans has a promise for women affected by breast cancer: You’re not alone, because we ride with you. These riders and fans added extra horsepower to that promise by raising more than $1 million for organizations that support and empower women affected by breast cancer through the purchase of Harley-Davidson Genuine MotorClothes Pink Label Collection apparel and merchandise. “The brave and courageous women who have shared with us stories of battling breast cancer are the inspiration for the Pink Label Collection,” said Karen Davidson (right), Creative Director of General Merchandise and granddaughter of a Harley-Davidson Motor Company founder.

A Seattle Seahawks-Themed Motorcycle. Why? Because Football. And Charity.

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

With the return of football season upon us (that’s American football for our international readers), we thought it best to feature, what else, but a motorcycle. In this particular case, it’s a Seattle Seahawks-themed custom based on a 2005 Harley-Davidson Road King, the same year the Hawks made it to the Super Bowl. The man behind the custom, award-winning bike builder and Seattle resident, Keith Wong, was approached by Patrick ‘PT’ Town, the founder and executive director of Union Ride & Charity Rally - a charity event to raise money for several non-profits including Northwest Harvest, A.N.E.W., Helmets to Hardhats and the Awareness, Education and Prevention of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in Youth Football.

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
