Collectors bike ! I purchased the bike in 1999 from my brother who purchased it new. This bike has always been stored inside. The service work done each year by Harley Davidson. Kelly blue book rates the bike for $14,000 . It looks and runs great never had any problems with the bike. The number plate was replaced with the flag on the tank but I have a letter from Harley Davidson authentic this bikes production number and when it was made. Labor Day weekend 2014, the place for Harley-Davidson fans to be is at the Harley-Davidson Museum. Starting Thursday, August 28 at 5:00 PM, the biggest bike night of the riding season kicks off the event-filled weekend. The holiday gathering will also include two custom bike shows, a women’s ride, displays of the 2015 Harley-Davidson Models, and the last chance to see the H-D Museum’s summer show entitled The American Road.

In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.
