Harley-Davidson Other description

Here is your only chance to own Nick Noltes Harley. Nick had this bike built for himself 25 years ago. Nicks stomping grounds are the serpentine canyons of Malibu, where for decades he and other hardcore riders, like Steve McQueen, would race to the Rock Store to relax and escape the bright lights of Hollywood.

Their rides had to be light, nimble, and quick, so Nick chose a reliable evolution 883 Sportster with the 4 speed trans for power.
The chassis is a rigid frame, with just enough rake for the springer fork to have optimum geometry.
The brakes are performance machine discs, front and rear.
Western bend handlebars and a sprung leather solo saddle provide all day comfort.
Leather saddlebags carry a weekend worth of 'supplies'.
The bike has been kept stored indoors, however, Nicks pet raven did perch over the front wheel, causing some surface rust on the chrome. I guess bird sh-t will do that! There is no speedometer, so actual mileage is unknown.  The motor is tight and strong, lots of compression. The clutch and transmission work great. The carb is rebuilt and jetted perfectly for easy starting , and smooth power delivery. The battery is new. The chain is new. This bike is ready to ride, and has been, up until a couple months ago, when Nick decided to hang up his spurs.
This is a bikers bike, simple, raw, pure. It speaks loudly of its owners personality, and has been a vital tool in maintaining Nicks' sanity in an insane world. He would like to share the ride of an epic lifetime, so bid to own!
There is only one bike that has seen what this bike has seen. Don't miss this chance!

Comes with a clear California Special Construction title in Nick Noltes' name.

Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.
