1969 Harley-Davidson Shovelhead Chopper Custom Built in Mint Condition.  I had this bike custom built over a two-year period carefully restoring and selecting the parts to make bike look like built in the early 70's including a complete re-build of the original 1969 HD motor and transmission.   Clear HD title.  Last year of the generator shovelhead and before the sale to AMF by Harley.  Bike has many special features:  (1) vintage girder front-end (2) new king queen seat custom made for bike (3) custom paint job on frame and sheet metal with vintage 70's colors (4) dual rectangle headlights 70's style (5) vintage custom rigid frame (6) S&S Carb with custom air cleaner cover (7) 16" apehanger with rounded corners (8) mechanical rear brake set-up (9) original HD mousetrap (10 fishtail pipes.  Motor is stock 74 c.i. and starts with 1 or 2 kicks. Bike rides great and handles perfectly.  12 volt charging system with vintage style cloth wiring.  Very low reserve.  Titled as a 1969 Harley-Davidson.

Harley-Davidson Donated $4.5 Million to Various Causes in 2012

Harley-Davidson donated more than $4.5 million to support various charitable groups in 2012. The donations, which include both grants and merchandise, went to several organizations, including those around Harley-Davidson‘s bases in Milwaukee, Wis., York, Pa., and Kansas City, Mo., but also to groups across the nation. The Milwaukee chapter of Habitat for Humanity received a $200,000 grant for its Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, helping fund housing projects in the Washington Park community.

The four-day “Music and Motorcycles” exhibit, presented by the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (LIMHOF), will be on public display at the Lighthouse Harley-Davidson dealership in Huntington Station, NY. The exhibit will feature memorabilia and motorcycles from many inductees from the LIMHOF including, Joan Jett, Billy Joel, Dee Snider, The Ramones, Darryl McDaniel of Run DMC and more. Billy Joel will be supplying several custom bikes, Twisted Sister have agreed to loan one of their motorcycles and a gas tank signed by Jett, Snider, Peter Tork of The Monkees, Gary U.S.
