The 'slipper' motorcycle clutch ('slip and assist') is a unique Harley clutch that provides smooth, high-power handling in turns or whenever you downshift. By reducing clutch friction, the V-Rod Muscle slipper clutch helps keep your rear wheel at a controlled clip. The Harley slipper clutch also comes on the V-Rod Night Rod Special Harley-Davidson power motorbike. In addition to the slipper clutch, the V-Rod Muscle features satin chrome, dual side exhaust with turnout mufflers. Jetting out past the rear axle, these dominating motorcycle pipes add to the fierce, beefy look of the bike. Harley-Davidson Confirms Project Livewire Will Appear In Avengers Movie
Fri, 25 Jul 2014From the “Unless-You’ve-Been-Living-Under-A-Rock” department comes Harley-Davidson’s announcement today at the San Diego Comic-Con, that H-D’s first electric motorcycle, the Livewire, will indeed be used in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron movie as the ride of choice for Natasha Romanoff (a.k.a. Black Widow) played by Scarlett Johansson, in an epic scene with Captain America in the film. Thu, 20 Aug 2009James Cameron, the genius behind such movies as Aliens, Terminator 1 and 2, True Lies, and The Abyss, has a new movie coming out this fall. “Avatar”, a sci-fi action movie, stars Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Giovanni Ribisi, Stephen Lang and Michelle Rodriguez, all of whom can be seen in the new pictures released yesterday by the studio. In one of the images we see Sam Worthington wearing a Harley-Davidson shirt and sitting in a bar. Is this the story of an average tough guy who rides motorcycles and plays pool in bars, turned action hero who saves mankind? Does Sam’s character, “Jake Sully”, ever get on a motorcycle in the movie or just shows his Harley support by wearing the T-shirt?
Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2013 Sales Results
Mon, 28 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson reported a 15.5% increase in motorcycle sales for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2013 compared to the same quarter last year. The news caps off an important quarter for Harley-Davidson that included the company’s 110th anniversary celebrations and the launch of its 2014 lineup including the new Twin-Cooled engines and Project Rushmore enhancements.
