2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Classic FLHTC, This 2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Classic has only 6,859 miles on it. It has stock running gear but does have a few upgrades to make it a better coast to coast Touring Harley. Cruise Control is an option for the 2011 FLHTC model and this bike has it. My favorite option is A.B.S. This has been legislated to be mandatory standard equipment in Europe in 2015 or 2016 and is an important safety feature on any Touring motorcycle. A fob operated Security System has also been installed by the factory. Another almost necessity in today's society. Smooth Rim wire wheels are another factory option that was checked off before it hit the showroom floor. As I said, this is a nicely equipped Electra Glide Classic. Add on a chromed luggage rack, Harley-Davidson hand grips, shifter pegs and brake pedal and the bike is complete. Take a test ride on this Harley. Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit
Wed, 24 Oct 2012From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
Harley-Davidson and Best Western Expand Partnership
Wed, 20 Feb 2013Harley-Davidson and Best Western have announced a three-year extension to their partnership which will now expand beyond North America. The two companies have been working together since 2006, providing benefits to customers of both brands. Under the new agreement, Best Western becomes the official lodging partner of Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations as well as the preferred lodging partner of Harley-Davidson’s rentals and tours division.
