Electronic cruise control, 80-watt Advanced Audio System by Harman/Kardon with passenger sound system, vented fairing lowers and adjustable fairing wind deflectors, luggage liners, and CB radio/intercom are all standard equipment. The Tour-Pak rack has been redesigned with no pierced holes in the tubes for Tour-Pak attachment. The Tour-Pak and saddlebag capacities are increased by five pounds, and it is easier to adjust the Tour-Pak fore and aft for passenger comfort. New features for 2009 include shorty dual antennas that will clear a seven-foot garage door, mid-frame air deflectors that project radiant engine heat away from the rider, and a brighter, long-lasting LED rear fender tip light. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.
