2009 Harley-Davidson Street Bob FXDB, The 2007 FXDB Dyna Street Bob again proves less can be more taking minimalist styling cues from the post-World War II 'bobber' movement and the custom choppers of the 1970s to a modern motorcycle. The Street Bob shuns components like a passenger seat and pegs. A solo seat at 25.8 inches high clearly states that this is a motorcycle for the individualist. Features like a mini ape-hanger handlebar, the classic Fat Bob fuel tank, a wrap-around rear fender and Chrome, Laced Steel wheels combine with the Twin Cam 96 engine for a stylish and powerful ride. A wrinkle-black finish applied to the battery box, console and belt guard completes the street-ready look.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’
Tue, 21 Sep 2010Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight. King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode. See his comments about the production here. Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
