2009 Harley-Davidson Road King FLHR, This 2009 Harley-Davidson Road King is one of the few "Fire Fighters Limited Edition" models that Harley produces each year to celebrate the efforts of our Fire Fighting community. It is distinguished by special badges on its fuel tank. The soul of this bike is pure Road King. It came from the Harley-Davidson factory with Smooth Rim Wire Wheels; a good looking upgrade. Electronic Cruise Control is another feature on the bike and after you've tried it you'll be asking, 'How did I ever get along with out this?' Anti-lock brakes are also included. Its drive train is just the way it came from the factory, but some nice chrome bits and pieces like a set of highway pegs. Road Kings are sought after Harleys because they look great and make an outstanding cruising, or touring bike. New 2012 Harley-Davidson Models Named in CARB Documents
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal two new models from Harley-Davidson’s 2012 lineup: a 10th anniversary edition V-Rod and a new member of the Dyna family. The CARB documents list motorcycles that have received approval for the state of California. The Motor Company has received approval for several 2012 models including the 2012 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special Anniversary and the 2012 Harley-Davidson Switchback.
2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters Receive ABS and Keyless Security Options
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed a five-model Sportster lineup for 2014 with some minor updates including new options for ABS and the H-D Smart Security System. The 2014 Sportster line consists of the 883cc SuperLow and Iron 883 and the 1200cc Forty-Eight, Seventy-Two and 1200 Custom. All five models received new brakes, with larger 300mm front rotors replacing the old 292mm discs.
