AMA Ice Racing Grand Championship Adds Ice Moto Competition

If you’ve been paying attention around here, you’ll know that we love ice racing here on Motorcycle.com. Editors Troy Siahaan and Tom Roderick got a first-hand taste of ice racing last winter, and we got a real kick out of seeing racers Brad Baker, Jared Mees and Nichole Mees taking Harley-Davidson Street 750s onto ice during the Winter X Games. Harley-Davidson Invites Fan On Red Carpet At Captain America Premiere

Harley-Davidson and Marvel surprised fans at the premiere of Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier in Hollywood, by inviting them onto the red carpet after it closed. Fans at the event were spontaneously selected to walk and experience the official red carpet and to check out a brand new Street 750 motorcycle along with the stars of the film, who autographed the bike for charity. The Winter Soldier star Chris Evans signs a new Harley-Davidson Street 750 at the premiere in Hollywood, CA.  Following the premiere, Harley-Davidson will donate the bike to Concord Youth Theatre. In its continued partnership with Marvel Comics, Harley-Davidson had six motorcycles at the premiere along the red carpet, where fans took pictures and interacted with actor and musician, Tyler Posey, the official Harley-Davidson commentator and host.

Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?

Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
