2007 Harley-Davidson FLHRC - Road King Classic, Classic Look!A RECIPE FOR COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE THAT SPANS TIME ZONES.Looking for an education in class? This motorcycle puts on a clinic. Take an already immaculate bike in the Road King. Dress it to nostalgic hog heaven with rigid leather bags, big chrome headlight and nacelle, wire-laced wheels jacketed in full fenders with wide whitewall tires. And you've got a recipe for a motorcycle that defies trends. You also have a recipe for comfort and performance that spans time zones. Cruise control, a refined chassis, a tooled leather seat and air-adjustable suspension smooth out the longest hauls. The new Twin Cam 96 motor with six-speed Cruise Drive transmission cooks up one fine journey. Consider yourself graduated.

The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...

Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle

Fri, 31 Jul 2009

I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl.  He’s amazingly talented and very driven.  Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson.  The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
