2014 Biker Belles Symposium At Sturgis Buffalo Chip

On Tuesday, August 5th, at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, the sixth annual Biker Belles symposium presented by Harley-Davidson kicks off at The Lodge at Deadwood. Proceedings get underway with filmmaker, Michelle Carpenter, showing a clip from her new documentary about women riders, “Driven to Ride.” When Carpenter finishes, a panel of leading industry women will address attending participants, including motivational speaker and safety expert, Cat Hammes; Team Diva owner, Diva Amy Skaling; ROAR Motorcycles founder, Kathy Tolleson; National Online Director of Marketing & PR for Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, Audrey Nesbitt; drag racer, Andie Gaskins; and more. Eric Bostrom to Race TTXGP for Brammo at Laguna Seca

Eric Bostrom has signed on to ride the Brammo Empulse RR in the electric motorcycle race at Laguna Seca July 28-29. The race is the final stop on the TTXGP‘s North American series and a joint event with the FIM’s ePower series. The AMA racing veteran will join Steve Atlas to represent Team Icon Brammo at Laguna Seca.

Today (August 16) it's exactly 35 years since Elvis died (or didn't, depending on your beliefs on the matter) so we thought we'd mark the moment with this – Elvis Presley's own 1956 Harley-Davidson. Elvis is so inextricably linked to Harleys that he's even become subject of an endlessly-circulating internet myth. You know, the one where a guy finds an old Harley for a few bucks, starts to restore it and discovers an 'Elvis' inscription under the seat.
