2006 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide CLASSIC, Selling my 2006 Electra Glide Classic. It has a 1450cc twin cam engine, 5 speed transmission. It is all stock. The original owner dropped it while loading it on a trailer insurance company opted to buy the motorcycle. The only damage done was the front fender engine guard and the right passing lamp. I have everything and replaced. I've been riding it for two seasons. Would not be afraid to take it anywhere. Mileage will change. I ride it everywhere. Only reason for selling is that I have vintage restore project I'm working on. There is a small ding on left side of fuel tank. and a looks like a exhaust pipe rub on the outer primary cover. It’s only 30 seconds but who’s to stop you from playing it over and over again? Now what would be even more amazing is if there was a dude riding that bike on the highway while she did that. What would be a million times more amazing would be if that dude was me.
ACCEL Stealth Supercoils Now Available For Harley-Davidson Sportsters
Fri, 08 Aug 2014ACCEL today announced the company’s popular motorcycle Stealth SuperCoils will now be available to owners of 2007-2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters. First introduced in late-2013 for Harley-Davidson Twin-Cam engines, ACCEL’s Stealth SuperCoils provide quicker engine starting and improved throttle response, while hiding all ignition wiring in the head of the self-contained coil pack; eliminating the need for spark plug wires and creating a clean, custom look. In addition to the flat black and natural aluminum finishes, the Sportster Stealth SuperCoils are offered in flat black with polished aluminum edges. Each SuperCoil mounts directly to the spark plug and features a cross-functional cast aluminum cover that also acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.
Music and Motorcycles Exhibit
Wed, 04 Mar 2009The four-day “Music and Motorcycles” exhibit, presented by the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (LIMHOF), will be on public display at the Lighthouse Harley-Davidson dealership in Huntington Station, NY. The exhibit will feature memorabilia and motorcycles from many inductees from the LIMHOF including, Joan Jett, Billy Joel, Dee Snider, The Ramones, Darryl McDaniel of Run DMC and more. Billy Joel will be supplying several custom bikes, Twisted Sister have agreed to loan one of their motorcycles and a gas tank signed by Jett, Snider, Peter Tork of The Monkees, Gary U.S.
