2014 Biker Belles Symposium At Sturgis Buffalo Chip

On Tuesday, August 5th, at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, the sixth annual Biker Belles symposium presented by Harley-Davidson kicks off at The Lodge at Deadwood. Proceedings get underway with filmmaker, Michelle Carpenter, showing a clip from her new documentary about women riders, “Driven to Ride.” When Carpenter finishes, a panel of leading industry women will address attending participants, including motivational speaker and safety expert, Cat Hammes; Team Diva owner, Diva Amy Skaling; ROAR Motorcycles founder, Kathy Tolleson; National Online Director of Marketing & PR for Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, Audrey Nesbitt; drag racer, Andie Gaskins; and more. Harley-Davidson Sells Test Track to Chrysler

Harley-Davidson has sold its 531-acre private test track in Florida to the Chrysler Group for $7 million. The property, located off of Interstate 75 in Naples, Fla., includes six miles of track including a 2.1-mile straightaway and several buildings. The track was originally built for Ford, with construction completed in 1992.

Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Party Is Just A Week Away

Harley-Davidson has been preparing for its 110th anniversary party for the past year, celebrating in 11 countries on six different continents. In the past year, Harley-Davidson employees, dealers and riders have shared thousands of amazing experiences, including a ride through the Tibetan Plateau in China, a parade along the beaches of Sao Paulo and even a Papal blessing. But now the party is coming home to Milwaukee over Labor Day weekend, which promises to be the biggest celebration of them all.  Milwaukee residents have always been cordial hosts for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who make the journey to the City of Festivals from around the world.
