2005 Harley-Davidson FLTRI Road Glide, Built to Cruise! - Calling the Road Glide model just another touring bike is like calling Mount Rushmore just another piece of rock. One look at the profile tells you this one’s different. Beginning up front with the frame-mounted shark-nose fairing with cockpit-style instrumentation, twin headlights and a swept-back windshield. The styling is aerodynamic—there’s nothing sleeker on the road. Moving back, there are broad-stripe graphics, a flowing seat, angled bags and slash-cut mufflers. It all gives new meaning to the word “streamlined.” You also get cruise control and 40-watts-per-channel, 4-speaker AM/FM/CD sound. 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout Unveiled at Daytona Bike Week
Fri, 08 Mar 2013In a rare move, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a base version of its Breakout months after first launching the exclusive Custom Vehicle Operations version. Presented at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, the 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout offers a similar low and muscular profile as the CVO version but at prices starting at $17,899 compared to the premium model’s $26,999 price point. Tom Roderick reviewed the 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout last August, saying it “continues the tradition of exclusivity, performance and style customers have come to expect from Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations.” But take away the premium CVO features and what do you have?
Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode. See his comments about the production here. Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
