Harley-Davidson Other description

2004 Harley-Davidson V-Rod , This is a 2004 vrod VSCRA. I bought this bike 3 yrs ago from a private seller, it had one problem. It was an ugly color. I purchased all new custom painted sheet metal direct from Harley Davidson. Harley only made 200 of this custom paint job and it is numbered 14/200 on side of tank. It has a screamin eagle exaust that has a low rumble in traffic but gets louder as you open it up. I just put new grips on it and the mirrors are a Rambo knife held by a sickle. It has LED rear turn signals Mounted under the rear fender, super bright when lit and invisible when off ($300 upgrade). The side covers Are chrome along with upper and lower belt gards, headlight cover, oil pump, and front air ports. It has new brakes front and rear, new battery, and the Metzler Marathon tires have about 1000 miles on them. This is an awesome bike that was that was VERY well maintained. There are no nics or scratches in The paint to show because there aren't any. The bike is spotless. Any questions please email Steve ,500.00

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.
