AS FOR THE BIKE ITSELF, LETS START AT THE FRONT, IT HAS A HHI CUSTOM TRIPLE TREE WITH A five DEGREE RAKE, 4quot; OVER FORK TUBES, PROGRESSIVE SUSPENTION SPRINGS, 21quot; FRONT TIRE AND DISC BRAKE. CUSTOM HEAD LIGHT AND TURN SIGNALS TOO. THE GAS TANK IS A 4.5 GALLON STRECHED AND MOLDED UNIT WITH BLACK BASE COAT CLEAR COAT PAINT WITH FADED GREY TO SILVER FLAMES. THE REST OF THE PAINT IS HARLEY ORIGINAL GLOSS BLACK/CLEAR COAT. REAR SUSPENTION IS PROGRESSIVE SUSPENTION 10 1/2 CHROME SHOCKS FOR A VERY LOW SEAT HIGHT. WITH THE SUSPENTION UPGRADES FRONT AND BACK, THIS RIDES AND HANDLES MUCH BETTER THAN A TYPICLE SPORTY. Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.
2011 Indy Mile Cancelled
Fri, 19 Aug 2011Indy Mile officials have decided to cancel this year’s AMA Flat Track round due to the continuing investigation into the fatal stage rigging accident at the Indiana State Fair. The Aug. 13 tragedy killed five people and injured dozens after winds reaching as high as 70 mph caused the stage to collapse.
Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule
Thu, 13 Mar 2014AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.
