AS FOR THE BIKE ITSELF, LETS START AT THE FRONT, IT HAS A HHI CUSTOM TRIPLE TREE WITH A five DEGREE RAKE, 4quot; OVER FORK TUBES, PROGRESSIVE SUSPENTION SPRINGS, 21quot; FRONT TIRE AND DISC BRAKE. CUSTOM HEAD LIGHT AND TURN SIGNALS TOO. THE GAS TANK IS A 4.5 GALLON STRECHED AND MOLDED UNIT WITH BLACK BASE COAT CLEAR COAT PAINT WITH FADED GREY TO SILVER FLAMES. THE REST OF THE PAINT IS HARLEY ORIGINAL GLOSS BLACK/CLEAR COAT. REAR SUSPENTION IS PROGRESSIVE SUSPENTION 10 1/2 CHROME SHOCKS FOR A VERY LOW SEAT HIGHT. WITH THE SUSPENTION UPGRADES FRONT AND BACK, THIS RIDES AND HANDLES MUCH BETTER THAN A TYPICLE SPORTY. WITH THE OVER LENGTH FORKS, RAKED TREE AND LOWER REAR SHOCKS, THE FRONT END NOW HAS AN AGRESSIVE 45 DEGREE RAKE. Harley-Davidson Opens Latin America Office in Miami
Thu, 13 Oct 2011Harley-Davidson opened a new regional headquarters in Miami, Fla., to house the company’s Latin America operations. The new Harley-Davidson Latin America headquarters supports the Motor Company’s subsidiaries in Brazil, Mexico and other countries in Central and South America. Harley-Davidson projects international sales to exceed 40% of the company’s revenue by 2014 with the Latin America office a prime area of growth.
2011 Indy Mile Cancelled
Fri, 19 Aug 2011Indy Mile officials have decided to cancel this year’s AMA Flat Track round due to the continuing investigation into the fatal stage rigging accident at the Indiana State Fair. The Aug. 13 tragedy killed five people and injured dozens after winds reaching as high as 70 mph caused the stage to collapse.
