The motor gets a special treatment, in blacked-out steel. Textured black meets wrinkle black. There’s not an ounce of flash, which makes it all the more eye-grabbing. The black flat-track handlebar and low-slung seat set up an aggressive riding posture. Brute street performance is the message, and it’s not subtle. Get on the gas and you discover just how not subtle. We also add dual gauges, a taller suspension and tighter 28º front end, plus triple disc brakes. Q3 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results

Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.

The study measures the overall satisfaction of motorcyclists with their new helmet in three key factors: ventilation, face shield, and design and styling; which consist of 11 attributes: quietness; ventilation/air flow; de-fogging; face shield ability to keep wind out; face shield ability to resist scratching; ease of replacing face shield; scratch resistance of shell; color/graphic design; weight; ease of fastening the strap; and fit and comfort.
