Harley-Davidson Other description

This 1978 FXE Superglide has been restored with attitude and beauty. Low mileage, garage kept and regular maintenance make this a smooth running and eye catching ride. It is both kick and electric start and both work. I admit I don't use the kickstart too often. Also has dual front disc brakes and a second oil cooler. No problems ever! All maintenance up to date. I bought bike as a second bike and have only put a thousand miles on it. Fresh oil, new battery, new throw out bearing and recently changed throttle cable were all it needed. There are a few (5?) chips in the paint but no rust or damage at all. There is a La Pera seat that comes with bike and also the rear component for the Corbin seat pictured. 7,999.00 239.707.0847

Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points. More from Harley-Davidson on Krawiec’s win: “I think this is really a statement on the season, to end it with an all-Harley final and the championship, and with Willie G.

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
