THE BIKE IS IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION....THE BIKE IS 38 YEARS OLD AND SHOWS SOME AGEING... THE TIRES ARE ORIGINAL TIRES SHOWS VERY LITTLE WEAR, THE BACK TIRE IF YOUR PLANNING TO RIDE WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED DUE TO IT AGE....THE TANK IS ORIGINAL AS WELL HAS SOME SMALL SCUFFS.. INSIDE TANK IS CLEAN AND HAS BEEN SEALED...AGAIN THE BIKE IS AN SURVIVOR ... AS FAR AS THE MILES GO, THE TITLE READS 129.. I NEVER DROVE THE BIKE,IT WAS FOR MY COLLECTION.... Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
Harley-Davidson Recalls 250,000 Motorcycles for Rear Brake Light Switches
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall for 250,757 units from its Touring, CVO Touring and Trike line from model years 2009 – 2012. The rear brake light switch on the models in question may become degraded due to the heat from the exhaust systems. This may affect brake light function and may result in a brake fluid leak.
Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?
Fri, 10 May 2013Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
