1971 HARLEY-DAVIDSON FLH, 1971 Harley Davidson FLH - Title matches the frame number. The unit has S&S cases, S&S cylinder heads & S&S cylinders. The motor is a 93ci S&S shovel head. 3 5/8 bore, 4 1/2 in stroke, late model 514 cam which is 78-84 & 73-91 style S&S oil pump. Super-G carb.....the engine information can be confirmed through S&S with the case number which is *A02620*.This motorcycle is not going to last. Super nice motorcycle taken in as a trade, would love to keep it! This is ready to ride and you can ride it home!! Wheels & tires in good shape, seems to have little primary leak, nothing bad. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
2013 Harley-Davidson World Ride Scheduled for June 23-24
Tue, 07 May 2013Harley-Davidson riders around the world will head out on the road June 23-24 for the 2013 Harley-Davidson World Ride. The event is organized by the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.), but non-members are invited to join in to celebrate Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary as well as H.O.G.’s 30th anniversary. “Harley-Davidson is celebrating two big anniversaries this year, and the World Ride is a great way for riders around the world to celebrate them with us,” says Ken Knuteson, H.O.G.
Harley’s Behind the Scenes at The Art of Rebellion
Wed, 06 May 2009On February 7th, 2009, at the Robert Berman Gallery in Santa Monica’s Bergamot Station Arts Center, Harley-Davidson gathered 11 of today’s most relevant and exciting artists to present their take on the theme of rebellion. Because the event was so popular, The Art of Rebellion one-night only event quickly became a month long showing. Artwork was for sale and the proceeds were donated to Art Matters, a foundation that assists socially and aesthetically groundbreaking artists.
