A real deal Panhead with just over 27,000 genuine miles. Started life as a Seattle police bike, was crashed in 1969, purchased by an officer and put in a barn. In 2003 it was bought by the parts manager of Seattle H-D and brought back to life. Bike was pretty rough from sitting, so it has been completely gone through down to crank, wheel bearings, transmission shafts, etc... All top quality work, beautiful paint, and I am a mechanic who rides it regularly.
Original frame, motor, transmission, handlebars, and sheet metal. It does have several aftermarket parts, but could easily be made into a 100 point bike. It has linkert carb, manual advance distributor, Cycle Electric 12v generator, good Dunlop tires. |

Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Sales Down 14.7% from 2011
Wed, 01 May 2013U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.
