1949 Harley Davidson Panhead Captain America Tribute Bike. The previous owner had the engine completely rebuilt buy a professional using new STD heads. Cases are stamped original 1949 cases and all the chrome is polished to a mirror finish. The S&S Super E carb was recently cleaned and rejetted so well as timing set for an easier start. Tires have lots of tread and no dry rot. Bike has a new lithium ion battery for lots of spark and was serviced in the spring by a PH.D. Harley Technician. This bike turns heads and drops jaws. It's been a best of show winner multiple times. Bike runs well but has not been ran very much this season. I am only selling this bike due to a spinal injury that has left me unable to ride. I would love to see her ridden and displayed by someone who can appreciate and enjoy her. Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if sold. Bike comes with a 1977 NJ title. I am willing to deliver within 50 miles of zip code 08037 for free possibly farther for a nominal fee. There is a reserve of 9k. Jury Dismisses Suit Against Harley-Davidson Over ABS Indicator
Tue, 20 Dec 2011A Sacramento Superior Court jury has dismissed a lawsuit filed against Harley-Davidson involving a 2009 accident that left one of the plaintiffs with severe brain injuries. Judy Wilson was injured in an April 11, 2009, crash after her husband, Jack, locked the rear wheel of his non-ABS equipped 2008 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The plaintiffs contended they believed their was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.

The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.

Tue, 07 May 2013Harley-Davidson riders around the world will head out on the road June 23-24 for the 2013 Harley-Davidson World Ride. The event is organized by the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.), but non-members are invited to join in to celebrate Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary as well as H.O.G.’s 30th anniversary. “Harley-Davidson is celebrating two big anniversaries this year, and the World Ride is a great way for riders around the world to celebrate them with us,” says Ken Knuteson, H.O.G.
