Up for sale is a really nice 1948 Harley Davidson Panhead with mostly all ORIGINAL paint! Tanks and rear fender are OG. Front fender has been blended in by one of the best painters out there that specializes in this type of work. All original HD sheetmetal, parts and pieces. Belly numbers match. Great investment piece as this is a correct bike. The pics don't lie - there are some dents and dings, but no rust. Wonderful patina that cannot be replicated. No repairs to the frame, either. The bike had a full mechanical overhaul less than 1,000 miles ago and is a runner. New tires. These pics were taken on 5/02/16. What you see is what you get. If you have questions, please ask. I will be responsive as I can be via ebay messaging. This bike is for sale locally and internationally, and I reserve the right to remove from Ebay should the bike be sold. I do welcome inspections but they must be performed PRIOR to auction's end. Bike is located in Atlanta, GA. Clean and clear title in my possession. ALL shipping arrangements must be made by buyer. 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout Unveiled at Daytona Bike Week
Fri, 08 Mar 2013In a rare move, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a base version of its Breakout months after first launching the exclusive Custom Vehicle Operations version. Presented at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, the 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout offers a similar low and muscular profile as the CVO version but at prices starting at $17,899 compared to the premium model’s $26,999 price point. Tom Roderick reviewed the 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout last August, saying it “continues the tradition of exclusivity, performance and style customers have come to expect from Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations.” But take away the premium CVO features and what do you have?

Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?
Fri, 10 May 2013Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
