Up for auction is a Original paint 1920 sport model W Harley Davidson Opposed. This Rare motorcycle has been in storage for more than 35 years,it is 98% complete and is in it's original paint "Olive Drab" This model was available from 1919 to 1923 4 year's only !it is 93 years old.the motor has compression and kicks thru ,but I have not attempted to start it.It is missing the rear chain,the mag wire and mag pick-up,a piece of linkage from the mag to the frame junction block .The front fork upper left brace is detached at the bottom and the right gas tank has a lead in repair ,all is viewable in the pictures.I do have the inclosed 3 piece chain guard.This motor cycle is being sold has is with no warranties expressed or implied. shipping is the buyers responsibility. Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
