I am selling this bike to settle my Brother's estate. He had sold the bike to a friend on a payment plan. Payments were not received and I got the bike back upon my Brother's passing. The person who had the bike road it year round and did not properly care for it cosmetically hence the scratch on the tank, pitting, etc. The bike was however well cared for mechanically. I had it gone over by my mechanic including oil change and believe it is in very good mechanical condition. I put a new battery in earlier this year. This was be a great bike for customizing as this model is known for having the big frame. Many of these bikes have been converted to choppers due to the large frame. Included with the bike are saddlebags, sissy bar bag and windshield bag. The quick detach windshield is also included but will likely the windshield replaced. Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
Harley-Davidson Confirms Project Livewire Will Appear In Avengers Movie
Fri, 25 Jul 2014From the “Unless-You’ve-Been-Living-Under-A-Rock” department comes Harley-Davidson’s announcement today at the San Diego Comic-Con, that H-D’s first electric motorcycle, the Livewire, will indeed be used in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron movie as the ride of choice for Natasha Romanoff (a.k.a. Black Widow) played by Scarlett Johansson, in an epic scene with Captain America in the film.
