Harley-Davidson Dyna description

Hi I am a older rider and have a sweet 2013 Harley Fat Bob with lots of custom up grades. It was purchased Dec. 7, 2013. It has a 103 cubic inch motor with a 6 speed trans,anti-lock brakes, info center with clock, trip, gear indicator, miles left in reserve, etc. I installed black Carlini 18" swing apes with Carlini piston risers,Avon grips with throttle boss. The headlight trim ring was powder coated black and the headlight was punched out 4" from the triple tree. Also the front fork tube sliders were powder coated black, upgraded black Harley foot pegs, and upgraded Harley seat. Next I installed a Harley solid black rear rim with a 200mm Michelin Commander II tire, in the front I installed a black out air force one rim with the largest Commander II tire that would fit. The calipers were changed out for Street Glide brake calipers, with new brake pads front & back. Then front chrome axle spikes, & rear solid black axle covers, chrome rear sprocket cover, detachable rear black backrest and rack & saddlebags. Upgraded mini LED Joker turn signals front and back, also rear LED tribar taillight. Power Commander V, Dyno tuned at Rubber Side Down. Front tool bag, Vance & Hines exhaust with K&N Hyper Breather. 2013 AIMExpo: Sumo-X – Video

Thu, 24 Oct 2013

Harley-Davidson riders like to customize their rides and Sumo-X gives them some interesting storage and style options, which we saw at the 2013 American International Motorcycle Expo in Orlando, Fla. The Sumo-X Tour Pack offers an incredible amount of storage behind and around the seat for Harley dressers. It allows you to access two bags or whatever else you’d like to keep in its cavernous opening.

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.
