Harley-Davidson 1999 FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide with 9975 original miles offered for sale by the original owner. This bike has been garage kept and meticulously maintained and is in like new condition (see photos). It has a carb, not the Magneti Marelli throttle system. The bike has an impressive list of features including chrome front end, custom front light bar, chrome cases, Python 3 pipes with heat shields, custom air cleaner, spoke wheels, chrome master cylinder cover, chrome battery cover, chrome engine lifter covers, other chrome details too many to list (see photos). Also includes leather bags with liners, new tires and battery (1 year old), adjustable low rear shocks, fully serviced. I have the original 1999 dealer brochure and owner's manual, warranty card and sales receipt. Purchase price was $18,862.70. All REASONABLE offers will be considered. Harley-Davidson Museum Showing Living Lost Photographs by Josh Kurpius
Thu, 09 Jan 2014The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit featuring photographs from custom builder and artist Josh Kurpius. Opening Jan. 17, the Living Lost Photographs by Josh Kurpius art exhibit includes 30 photographs taken during a series of road trips Kurpius took with friends, all riding vintage Harleys.
Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule
Thu, 13 Mar 2014AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.
Keanu Reeves Starts Arch Motorcycle Company – Production to Begin in 2013
Fri, 05 Oct 2012Actor Keanu Reeves is getting into the motorcycle business, starting up the Arch Motorcycle Company with Gard Hollinger of L.A. County Choprods. The new company will build motorcycles based on the KR GT-1 prototype pictured above, with production set to begin in 2013.
