Very nice dependable rider, very rare 2 year color (54-55) usually starts on the first kick. Just had a professional restorer put in correct cloth wiring harness, new battery, throttle & advance cables, take apart carburetor clean & rebuild, also checked points, timing, and adjusted valves. Motorcycle has all original sheet metal in very good condition. Pogo seat assembly was also rebuilt. Pictures were taken at time motorcycle was being worked on, so if something looks out of place or missing, that's the reason. Bike is listed locally so i reserve the right to end the auction early. This bike can be seen & heard at the National Antique Motorcycle meet in Wauseon, OH. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Models Recalled for Pinched Brake Lines
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson is recalling 66,421 motorcycles because of a problem with the front brake lines getting pinched. The recall affects all ABS-equipped 2014 touring and CVO touring models including the Electra Glide Ultra Limited, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Street Glide, Road King, CVO Limited and CVO Road King. Police and Shrine edition models are also affected, as are the Twin-Cooled version of the Electra Glide Ultra Classic and the Road King Classic which are produced for other markets.
Harley-Davidson Financial Services to Refund $228,000 in Settlement
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.
