2009 Ducati Supe rbike 1198, 1 owner, Only 2,982mis This Superbike is a great example of Italian engineering. The engine is a high performance 1198cc 90' Twin V putting out 170hp @ 9,750 rev and 97 lbs of torque @ 8,000 rev. The transmission is a 6 gear mated with a dry clutch. With a dry weight of 277 pounds the bike will do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph (electronically limited). This bike is very fast and comfortable to ride. The Super bike was owned by a middle aged adult male with a passion for Italian speed machines. This is 1 of two bikes I was fortunate enough to aquire. As with all his toys it has been maticulously maintained at a local dealership and it shows. It has a recent battery, back seat and helmet. The bike looks like new and runs like new, never abused. Tue, 02 Nov 2010Just got back from Ducati's stand in hall 18 and it's swamped. People are literally scuffling to get a sit on the new Diavel. I managed to scuffle my way to the front and even though the handlebar grips were dripping with other people's excited hand secretions, it was a pleasant experience.
Intermot 2012: Ducati Monster Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Wed, 03 Oct 2012Ducati marked the 20th anniversary of its air-cooled naked Monster line at the Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, the exact site where the M900 was first unveiled back in 1992. For 2013, Ducati is offering an anniversary edition version with bronze-colored highlights reminiscent of the original M900. Available for the Monster 696, 796 and 1100 EVO, the 20th Anniversary Edition adds a steel trellis bronze frame, gold brake components, champagne front forks, gray swignarm, engine outer casings and lower triple clamp and chrome headlamp support.

Wed, 05 Jan 2011I'm finding it difficult to appreciate art at the moment, especially with all the modern art nonsense. I guess I just don't understand it, but these pieces look worthy of Tate Bike (that is if it existed). They're from young female artist, Guenevere Schwien, who grew to love motorcycles at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
