2010 Ducati Superbike 848, Listed is a 2010 Ducati 848 with 6034 miles. It is pearl white with a red belly pan, which makes it one of a kind. The bike has been garage kept and ridden mostly on country roads and short trips around town. It has never seen the track and has never been laid down. All service on the bike is up to date and the gas tank was recently replaced by the factory as part of a manufacturer recall. The few modifications are Rizoma bar ends and grips, Rizoma brake lever, smoked windscreen and superpole seat. It also has leads installed for a battery tender and will come with a Ducati motorcycle cover. I also have an extra rear shock that was purchased by never installed that I would be willing to negotiate on. I'm selling the bike because I do not have time to ride it anymore and I just don't want it sitting here. Someone else should be enjoying this beauty. It's touching, if a little bizarre. Guintoli and Crew Quits Liberty Racing Team Ahead of Home WSBK Race
Thu, 19 Jul 2012World Superbike rider Sylvain Guintoli has left the Effenbert Liberty ahead of the team’s home round in Brno, Czech Republic. Guintoli and members of his pit crew walked off the job, reportedly in a dispute over overdue pay cheques. Liberty Racing initially released a statement calling the crew’s departure as a “defection” born from a “misunderstanding between the mechanics and the administrative management of the team”.
Rossi to Race on Updated Ducati Desmosedici GP11.1
Mon, 20 Jun 2011With the 2011 MotoGP season not going as successfully as hoped, Ducati is introducing a number of significant updates to its Desmosedici racebike including features originally intended for the 2012 version. Valentino Rossi, whose much heralded union with Ducati has produced just a single podium finish in six races, will be the first to race on the updated Desmosedici, dubbed the GP11.1. Rossi will ride the GP11.1 at the upcoming Assen.
