Selling my 2008 Ducati 848. The bike has 13,377 miles. Looks, Runs and rides smooth - excellent! Recently installed brand new smoke windshield. The bike does have some modifications done to it. All by owner. Recessed license plate holder with LED License Plate light. Full LED brake light with turn signals K&N Oil and Air filter. The condition of the bike is a 9 out of 10 because of normal fair wear mileage of less than 14K miles. Has never been downed or dropped. The paint is in near perfect shape. Maintenance has been done as specifications recommended. Other accessories will be part of this prices as a bundle and are shown in pictures. They are: Original clear windshield, original rear taillight with signals, one AGV helmet, original license plate holder, carbon fiber mirrors with turn signals and original user manual. Prince William The Duke Of Ducs And Other Motorcycles
Mon, 02 Dec 2013The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.
Ducati Targeting Aprilia Racing Manager Gigi Dall’Igna
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Ducati has reportedly signed Aprilia Racing manager Gigi Dall’Igna to take control of its struggling MotoGP program. Neither Ducati Corse or Aprilia Racing have confirmed the reports, but several sources in the European motorsports press such as Motociclismo.it, not to mention a tweet from retired World Superbike Champion Max Biaggi, claim the deal is done. Dall’Igna has been an instrumental figure in Aprilia’s racing success since the manufacturer’s return to WSBK racing with the RSV4 in 2009, helping guide Biaggi to two championships and, pending the result of the 2013 season finale at Jerez, likely three manufacturers titles.
Ducati Reports 24% Growth in North America in Q3 2012
Wed, 24 Oct 2012Ducati North America reported its ninth consecutive quarter of growth with a 24% increase in retail sales for the three months ended Sept. 30, 2012. Specific numbers were not released, though we may hear more details when Ducati‘s worldwide quarterly results are released.
