Bike has less than 1000 miles on motor, built by Ducshop. Titanium rods, HC Pistal pistons, racing clutch, lightweight flywheel, larger airbox and runners, Microtec ECU with two maps, TTX rear shock and plenty of carbon. Motor was also balanced and blueprinted. Crank was lightened as well. Tires have about 1200 miles of wear, maybe less. Much more, that I'm sure I'm forgetting to list.
Bike makes 168hp and 91ftlbs tq at the wheel and can easily be used for track days or club racing. I have all records and receipts since owned, including additional work. I have been the only owner. This is in addition to the impressive collection of Harley-Davidsons from the Pierce collection headlining the auction. Comprised of Italian thoroughbreds, the Silverman collection is one of the most renowned in the world and is based largely around competition models. For instance, featured is a 1973 750SS Imola Short Stroke.
Ducati CEO Domenicali Talks 899 Panigale, Audi and MotoGP Performance
Thu, 12 Sep 2013Following the debut of the new 899 Panigale during Audi‘s presentation at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Ducati held a separate, smaller press conference with the motorcycle press at its headquarters in Bologna, Italy, to discuss the new “Supermid” sportbike and the company’s Chief Executive Officer Claudio Domenicali discussed the state of the company after a year under its new ownership. “Audi is a stakeholder who wishes to be involved in the technical development of the company and to focus its efforts on product development. Now, a year after the acquisition, it is time to take stock of the initial results and look to the future with a positive and proactive attitude,” says Domenicali. “Ducati achieved record sales in 2011 and again in 2012 when over 44,000 motorcycles were delivered to customers.
Claudio Domenicali to Replace Gabriele Del Torchio as Ducati CEO
Thu, 18 Apr 2013Current Ducati CEO, Gabriele Del Torchio, is leaving the company to take up new professional challenges. Replacing him is Ducati General Manager and Member of the Board of Directors at Ducati Motor Holding, Claudio Domenicali. Domenicali joined Ducati as a project leader in 1991.
