Ducati Superbike description

Hate to do it but selling my Duc......2005 Ducati 999s in excellent condition.  Not perfect but definitely beautiful overall.  I purchased in March 2013 with 10m miles so very few added.  I'm the 3rd owner and the 2nd was buying a new Panigale.  Ridden for fun, not tracked, and never dropped to my knowledge.  Adult owned by a rider with over 30 years experience.  In addition to regular oil/filter changes (full synthetic) during my care:

ASV levers    Apr2013
EBC brake pads front/rear    May2013
Speedymoto axle sliders    Jun2013
Samco silicone hoses    May2014
Valve service/cam belt change/NGK spark plugs    May2014    11,098 miles
Ignition coils    Oct2014
Fuel filter/relay    Oct2014
Oil cooler replaced  Nov2014
Woodcraft complete rearsets    Dec2014
Speedymoto pressure plate/clutch cover    Feb2015
Yuasa battery    May2015
Sargent seat    Jul2015
Ohlins front suspension service/new seals (by Ohlins)  Oct2015  11,500

Also has FBC risers, Termignoni exhaust, full Ohlins suspension, and the other benefits of the S model.  Everything works as it should and it just passed the NC inspection.  Photo of the small rub/scratch on the tailpiece.  It was there when I bought it.  Has a couple small scratches on the belly pan.  Includes owners manual, regular key, and the red key.  Does not have the code card.  Sorry about some of the photo orientation but they keep flipping.

Buyer responsible for pick-up/transportation.  If you want to line up shipment through a carrier I'll make sure it goes well on my end.  Funds must be clear before release of bike and title.

I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.  Thanks for looking!

848 Challenge: Official race report, Snetterton 300

Mon, 28 May 2012

Mike Edwards put a disappointing start to the season behind him with a win and a second place at Round Three of the Ducati 848 Challenge at the Snetterton BSB weekend. With a gritty ride to victory in Race One and a late charge to third in Race Two, Edwards (Ohlins @ P&H Motorcycles) managed to keep his championship hopes alive following a run of uncharacteristic crashes at the last two rounds.   Edwards said before Race One that he was going for a “win it or bin it” attitude this weekend as he desperately needed to make up the points he missed out on at Assen.

Motorcycle.com Weekly Community Round-up!

Here are a few things going on around the Motorcycle.com Forum Network: Animated Engines plivez, a new member of the Ducati.ms forums (welcome Plivez!) has a website where he animates motorcycle engines in flash. It’s pretty interesting to see the way a Evo and Twin Cam V twin Harley Davidson engine works. He also has up the crazy BMW flat twin R100 motorcycle engine which seems more complicated then an engine should be!

2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Launch This Week!

Mon, 13 Feb 2012

The normal life of a motorcycle journalist is actually kind of mundane, as 95% of my time is spent slouched over a computer. But then there are rare days in which we are hosted in lavish accommodations in a cool location to ride some new bike no one else in the world has yet ridden. For a motorcycle enthusiast it’s a charmed life.
