Ducati Superbike tech info
Ducati Superbike description
I purchased the bike because I always wanted a Ducati. I found out that it just isnt the bike for me. Anyway, as soon as I got the bike I took it to the local Ducati service center and had them go through it for a thorough once over. They found a few bolts missing and a wrong bolts being used in place of OEM but nothing major. All items found were fixed right up and no problems reported further. The bike is perfectly safe and runs down the road straight as an arrow! We now have newer tires, brakes (including rotors), new upgraded computer chip, new battery and tender, among many other parts. The bike as I see it has been laid down in the past (as mentioned at low speed) but, it did not have any frame, fork or tree damage at all. Just ate up the plastics and brake handle on right side as well as bar end. You barely even notice it until you look for it. It still has low miles for the year and runs out very nice (Especially now that we have gone through and repaired, replaced and maintained the bike as it should actually be. I can answer any questions you have about it through email. If you are looking for a perfect bike this isn't it. However, if you are looking for a good starter bike or a just your first Ducati to get your feet wet this may be the bike for you. I am taking a loss on it as priced but like I said it isn't the bike for me. I am a rice-rocket kinda guy who wanted to be a bit different but just cannot get out of the whole "Jap-Bike" mentality. I will add more pics when I get the chance or email them to you as requested. I only had one on my computer to load at this time, my apologies. Oh and the bike has custom cover seats, custom exhaust (sounds like a v-8 v's a 4 cylinder) kinda like a Focus v's a Mustang if you compare my CBR to it> lol It has a much throatier lower range sound by far! For the buy it now price I will throw in the custom painted (themed) med Iron Man helmet. You wanna stand out and/or get attention the combo of the two will get it but the helmet alone will get you tons! Bike is fuel injected and gets great gas mileage!

I'm after a Ducati 848 radiator, and...
Fri, 27 Jan 2012If you're not crashing, you're not trying hard enough. When I crashed at Silverstone, I was trying but clearly my 848 wasn't hard enough. It took a beating..
Cal Crutchlow Leaves Ducati for LCR Honda
Tue, 05 Aug 2014Cal Crutchlow has signed on to race for the LCR Honda team for the 2015 MotoGP season. To make the jump, Crutchlow secured an early termination to his contract with Ducati. The switch comes as a bit of a surprise after Crutchlow had confirmed he would honor the final year of his contract at World Ducati Week.
2012 Ducati Multistrada 1200 – Ducati’s Top Selling Model Returns
Thu, 06 Oct 2011For a company best known for its sportbikes, it may surprise some to learn Ducati’s hottest selling model is its Multistrada 1200. But it’s true: the Multistrada 1200 family, consisting of the base version, the 1200S Sport, 1200S Sport Pikes Peak Special Edition and the 1200S Touring is topping Ducati’s sales charts. It makes sense then for the Ducati Multistrada 1200 to return relatively unchanged for 2012, though it appears the Pikes Peak edition is the only version of the Multistrada to come in the 1200S Sport trim.
