2000 Ducati Superbike on 2040-motos
Ducati Superbike tech info
Ducati Superbike description
2000 Ducati 748. Fuel Injected with under 9k miles. Very clean bike, well taken care of. I bought it out in Colorado aprox 4 years ago as you see it with only a few thousand miles on it. Had the basic maintenance done with all recommended valve checks. Belts were replaced just due to its age, not wear (and obviously not mileage). Has been a awesome bike as any Duc is :) and I have had a couple. I just bought a new upgrade though so time to condense a bit. Really is a good bike and you cant beat the sound. Good tires, brakes, drive chain / sprockets. Has the newer larger front rubber. Bike is a true Biposto underneath (Has the proper rear subframe and everything for the two seater set up) but it has the monoposto cowl fitted over it. I have the rear pegs as well, just no Biposto rear fairing / seat setup. Rear brake is soft and needs to be bled, all the pads are good. Bike has the Ducati kick stand adapter installed which allows you to start the bike with the kick stand down only while in Neutral (Otherwise you had to be sitting on it with the stand up to start the bike from factory). Hard line from the battery for a quick disconnect battery tender. Also comes with a few other odds and ends including the single sided rear stand. I have a couple helmets buyer can have their choice of if need be.
Vehicle sold as is. Please feel free to ask any additional questions or request any specific pictures before bidding. Buyer responsible for any shipping needs unless it is pre-discussed (I can help work out shipping as I work in Logistics).

Radical Ducati Closing Its Doors
Wed, 15 Jan 2014Radical Ducati, the Madrid-based motorcycle shop known for its wild and exquisite custom Ducatis, has suddenly ceased operations. On its Facebook page, Pepo Rosell who runs the shop alongside Reyes Ramon, posted, “It has been more than 15 years of passion, designing, fabricating, riding and developing my dreams. Now is time to stop and make a change in my life. I want to thanks all of you for your support and for share our passion.” The loss of Radical Ducati is certainly unexpected. While it’s a sad sight to see them go, thankfully the duo have created some of the most beautiful custom Ducatis on the planet, which will live on as a reminder of their legacy. So in their honor, I’ve created a photo gallery below of just a sampling of some of Rosell and Ramon’s best work.
Recall for 2011 Ducati Diavel
Thu, 07 Jul 2011Ducati is recalling certain 2011 Diavel units due to a risk of the license plate holder coming loose. The license plate holder on the Ducati Diavel floats over the rear tire thanks to a bracket attached to the swingarm. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brass inserts in the chain guard may become deformed over time, potentially loosening the screws attaching the bracket to the swingarm.
Lightning Motorcycles To Field Current Lap Record Holder Carlin Dunne At Pikes Peak
Tue, 04 Jun 2013Lightning Motorcycles, has announced today that it has just signed Carlin Dunne to compete at this year’s Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb in June. Dunne is the current lap record holder on a motorcycle, and the two-time and defending class champion. This marks a historic moment, as Dunne will switch from the gas-powered Ducati Multistrada he rode to his past victories to the all-electric Lightning superbike.
