Custom seat. Tremendous mid-range torque and magic in the curves. Fiberglass front fender. Carbon fiber "hugger" rear fender. Cycle Cat bar risers, fully adjustable in any direction. Recently serviced. 600 miles on New Cam Belts and Complete Valve Re-shimming. 600 miles on Oil Change and Complete Clutch service. 600 miles on new front Bridgestone Battlax BT016, sticky sport-tour tire. A non-refundable PayPal deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of auction close. Remaining balance is due within 7 days of auction close, by cash, check, money order, or limited amounts on multiple credit cards or PayPal (see below for details). Round 3 of the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge again provided some exciting racing over the Bank Holiday weekend at Thruxton with Kenny Gilbertson and Chris Northover taking a race win each. Mon, 02 Dec 2013The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.
