Motorcycle Located in New Jersey.

2009 Sport Classic.  My daily rider.  Milage may be more than listed.  7500 Valve adjustment completed.  Openers adjusted to .10 mm on the Intake and .15 mm on the Exhaust; Closers <.02 MM intake and .025 mm Exhaust  (see ducatimeccanica.com).  Belts are 1 year old and just tuned to 100 Hz during valve adjustment.  Oil changes and maintenance completed by myself.

Engine: Has a Ducati Performance ECU, and WASP PUK Velocity Stacks. (Stacks only not full PUK).  A/F gauge installed and ECU fuel trim adjusted to elimitate off-throttle lean back-fire.  Currently has 14:43 Gearing installed.

Body:  Gas tank replaced 5/8/2010 under Ducati Warrenty for Ethanol spread.  No issue since with this tank.  The Fenders are GT1000 optional Chrome Set.  The Rims are Chrome as well. (I think it fits the style of the Moto.)

Tires:  2012 Bridgestone Battlax BT016 Tires.  Installed in 2013.

No Warrenty Implied or Offered.  This is a used Motorcycle being sold as-is, where is.  That being said, this is my daily rider, and commuter (Wx dependent).  There are no mechanical issues.  As the photos will show, this is a well cared for Motorcycle.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.

Rossi to Ducati: The affair begins

Mon, 22 Nov 2010

WE'VE STUMBLED across a series of videos posted on YouTube which follow the behind-the-scenes action of Valentino Rossi taking his first spin aboard Ducati's 2011 MotoGP racer. Filmed by an insider and posted on 'Tube by those lovely chaps at 'Assphalt and Rubber', the series of six videos follows the nine-time World Champion, as he's introduced to the 2011 machine for the first time. Rossi ended the two-day session at Valencia in 15th place on the timesheets.
