Ducati Scrambler tech info
Ducati Scrambler description
The Scrambler Full Throttle version is inspired by the flat track world and makes clear references to the bikes that race around dirt ovals. It is equipped with a Termignoni racing exhaust homologated for road use, a seat designed for racing and black side panels with dedicated graphics. The low tapered handlebar and the short front mudguard add to the distinctive features of the Scrambler Full Throttle, destined for those who want a bike perfect for every-day use but without compromising on racing style. In Deep Black.
Gorgeous bike, purchased less than a year ago. Used on dirt roads and some mud and was amazingly fun to ride. Bike is flawless with no damage, no falls or accidents. Bike has a brand new rear tire due to puncture of used one and ran about 150 miles on it. Comes with additional hard/soft cases that are original Ducati Equipment and the frame. Was dealer installed and cost over $1200 - Ducati not offering these superb bags anymore. Both come with locks on zippers, 2 keys to mount/unmount and 2 rain covers. Also comes with a "Giant Loop" Handlebar bag in black. Bike is truly exceptional. Don't want to sell but bought another bike and can't keep both so as painful as it was I am parting with it. I have picks of use on dirt and mud and can send prior to sale. Go riding with a group of BMW 1200GS owners and I always ride over them because this bike is so light, so responsive and has so much torque especially on the low end. SO much fun, the equivalent of a Kart on 2 wheels. 1st and 2nd Services done. Next Service at 7500 miles - warranty comes with road side assistance from Ducati Engine L-twin, Desmodromic distribution, 2 valves per cylinder Horsepower 75 hp (55 kW) @ 8,250 rpm Displacement 803 cc Bore x Stroke 88 x 66 mm Torque 50 ft. lbs. Ducati 1199 Panigale On The Dyno
Mon, 23 Jan 2012Italian magazine Motociclismo is one of the largest and most influential motorcycle publications in all of Europe, and they’ve captured this clip of a Ducati test rider running the new 1199 Panigale on the dyno. Rider wearing full gear aside (he even flips down his faceshield!), what sticks out to me is how quickly the new Superquadro engine accelerates through its rev range. I was also impressed at the length it took before the rev limiter was reached.
New 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Spy Photos
Mon, 26 Sep 2011New spy photos have emerged giving the clearest look yet at the upcoming 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale. Uploaded by a user on the Ducati.ms forum, the photographs show the Ducati 1199 Panigale still with some camouflaging but the clarity of the images offer a good idea of the overall fairing design as well as a look at the underslung Termignoni exhaust. Of course, the Internet being what it is, the new spy photos have elicited comments about the test rider’s size, but as a larger rider myself, I find it’s a nice change to see how a motorcycle looks for different body types.
Don't become another crime statistic
Mon, 13 Jun 2011On average approximately 50,000 motorcycles are stolen each year. They're taken from outside homes, from large urban environments across the countries major cites and highly organised gangs are at the heart of thefts preying on innocent motorcyclists. Experts of motorcycle security, Acumen advise on how to protect your bike: How to reduce the chance of theft Protection is like layers of an onion – the more the layers; the longer it takes.
