Ducati Scrambler 250 description

RARE!
1966 Ducati 250 Scrambler

This 250 Scrambler has never been apart or abused. It's bolts aren't all stripped out or missing. It's an extremely original machine.  Although we have not tried to get it running, I'm sure with a little tune up and TLC it would run great.  It kicks over nicely and has very good compression!  It has been stored inside for many years.  I don't see any parts missing or broken.  It all looks to be original, even the correct Veglia tachometer installed!   There is no speedometer so mileage is unknown.  Bike has a clean title, ready to go!

Please take a look at all photos, and let us know if you have any questions!

Buyer is responsible for shipping or local pick up, but we can help with a quote if needed.

Sales were down in Europe where the economy continues to struggle.

A subspecies of the Ducati Scrambler

Tue, 02 Dec 2014

While the motorcycle world is eagerly waiting for the new 2015 Ducati Scrambler to go on sale, Japanese Speedtractor customizers are reinventing their scrambler from a Bolognese brand donor. The motorcycle is based on the 1988 Ducati 750 Sport. The previous owner bought it in the mid-1990s to ride on the track, but after the first Sunday race, he parked the bike in the garage for several years for some reason.

Audi Announces Ducati Q3 2013 Sales Results

Thu, 07 Nov 2013

Ducati delivered 36,662 motorcycles worldwide over the first nine months of 2013, according to the third quarter financial report from parent company Audi. An exact year-over-year comparison is not available however, as Audi only took control of Ducati on July 19, 2012, but Audi admits demand had declined mainly due to a weak economy in key European markets such as France, Spain and Ducati’s home market, Italy. We can provide a rough year-over-year comparison for the third quarter ended Sept.
