Ducati Other description

2013 Ducati M696ABS, The 696 is the smallest member in the Monster family and is packed with a Desmodue, 696 cc, L-Twin cylinder, air cooled engine which offers a maximum output of 80 hp @ 9000 rpm and 50.6lb-ft @ 7750rpm and is paired with a six speed transmission. When designing the Monster 696 Ducati s engineers have spent a lot of time to carefully refine the bike s ergonomics. Thereby elements like the fuel tank, seat height and the steering lock were especially designed to maximize comfort. The 20th Anniversary edition is offered with a series of distinctive features such as the 1986 Ducati logo, the same colors as the 1992 Monster 900 and 90s style wing mirrors.

Leo Vince Ducati Multistrada 1200 exhaust

Thu, 15 Dec 2011

Leo Vince have released this exhaust and decat kit for the Ducati Multistrada 1200. Rather than just a plain old link pipe to replace the cat, Leo Vince's decat replacement includes a silencer to cut noise. The exhaust can be fitted to the standard cat, or you could fit the stock exhaust to the Leo Vince decat, or run both.

1199 TerraCorsa

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

Looking like something from Mission Impossible II, this 1199 Panigale S has been given the off-road treatment by MotoCorsa, a Ducati dealer based across the pond in Portland. The bike features a Desert Storm paint job, a stock 1199 exhaust and a custom crash guard. MotoCorsa’s General Manager Arun Sharma said that they “dropped the forks as low as we could in the triple and raised the shock’s ride height as much as possible; the idea being to max out the ground clearance.”“There’s all these guys saying ‘that’s so stupid’ or ‘why would you ruin a good bike like that?’ Well, why not just have some fun and be silly?”The bike’s been taken on a 1200 mile adventure and apparently performed faultlessly across all kinds of terrain. MotoCorsa plan to make another video where the bike is taken off-road again, then driven into the garage before being prepared for a track day.

MotoGP Approves “Factory 2″ Rules

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

We’re just days away from the start of the 2014 MotoGP season and one would think it’s a little late for series organizers to make any significant rule changes. At least, one would think that if one were unfamiliar with the political back-and-forths going on between the major manufacturers and MotoGP promoter Dorna. But with the season-opening Qatar round about to begin, the Grand Prix Commission approved new rules establishing a compromise between the new Factory and Open options.
