I'm out in Sardinia for the launch of Ducati's Hypermotard 1100 EVO. I can't wait. I'm knackered from the transfers, been up since 5am and haven't helped myself by necking an espresso at every opportunity.

What's Bayliss up to these days?

Troy Bayliss might not be in the limelight these days, but the ex-World Superbike champ has been busy down under testing Aussie V8s for the Jack Daniel's Racing Holden team. Bayliss has made it quite clear that he wants to race V8s as the next stage of his racing career. He allegedly turned down a multi-million dollar contract from Ducati when he decided to quit WSB.

This is the trailer for the latest MotoGP specific documentary from filmmaker Mark Neal. The documentary, narrated again by Ewan McGregor, follows the 2010 and 2011 MotoGP campaigns of Valentino and tackling his new rivals in the youth contingent of Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and Ben Spies. Going behind-the-scenes Fastest charts the high and lows of last season, including Rossi's career-threatening crash at Mugello and his spectacular return to racing just 41 days later at the German Grand Prix, and shows his debut on the Ducati for the 2011 season.
