2010 Ducati Streetfighter 1098, Innovative Motorcars Atlanta Is Proud To Offer 2010 Ducati Streetfighter Clean Runs Great BAZZAZ Z-Fi Fuel Controller $379.00 Map Select Switch 79.00 The new Ducati Streetfighter sources a near identical liquid-cooled L-Twin as the 1098 Superbike, with the Streetfighter sporting twin shotgun-style pipes. Combustion remnants are passed though a 1mm-thick, 2-into-1-into-2 steel exhaust system, which exits via twin stainless-steel shotgun style mufflers on the right side of the motorcycle. Within the pipes, a pair of sensors read exhaust gases to ensure proper fuel mapping. An electronically-controlled valve inside the mid-section further aids performance and also keeps noise to a reasonable level at lower RPMs. One downside to the exhaust design is it requires the removal of the mufflers before taking off the rear wheel. $9,500.00 6784162070

Maybe I'm wired up wrong but these pictures of the Alstare Ducati 1199 Panigale are, to me, more exciting than the latest Sports Illustrated cover. Just look at that tight chassis, the flowing curves and those cans tucked just out of sight and then compare that to the model on the right. I know what I'd rather spend the day with.

Max Biaggi won the opening race to the 2012 World Superbike Championship while defending champion Carlos Checa came back from a high-speed crash in the first race to win the second at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. Reigning champion Checa of Althea Ducati had a stunning high-side crash while leading on the sixth lap of Race One. The WSBK paddock was already in shock with the death of 17-year-old Oscar McIntyre in the Superstock 600 race the day before but thankfully Checa was not seriously injured.

This was the sorry looking JHP Ducati after Darren Fry crashed it in qualifying on Sunday before the first race of the championship. Fry broke his coccyx in the crash but, fortunately for Fry, it took around 10 people just over 3 hours to get the bike ready to race, as can be seen in the picture below. Hats off to Darren Fry for racing the bike over the rest of the weekend.
