I've just been sent this press release about a new Cigarette Racing (that's the boat co.) Ducati Edition boat. It's nice looking, for sure, but do you really need Ducati logos splashed everywhere when you've forked out on a boat that's probably not going to give you much change from £1m. We’ve already reported on the Ducati 1199 Panigale’s domestic racing debut (and first race victory) but the 1098 successor has finally made its international racing debut in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup. Barni Racing‘s Eddi La Marra captured pole position on the Ducati 1199 Panigale and led for the first six laps before the race was red-flagged after Team Brazil racer Heber Pedrosa crashed his Kawasaki ZX-10R. The race was restarted as a five-lap sprint.

2014 Ducati Monster 1200S Named Most Beautiful Bike of EICMA

Visitors to the 2013 EICMA show in Milan voted the new Ducati Monster 1200S the “Most Beautiful Bike of Show”. The new Monster powered by Ducati‘s liquid-cooled 11-degree Testastretta engine received the most votes out of more than 10,000 ballots to win the honor. Second place went to the Turismo Veloce 800 from MV Agusta, which captured the honor at last year’s show with the Rivale 800.
