2014 Ducati 899 Panigale Revealed
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Traditionally, Ducati saves its big reveals for the EICMA Show in November in its native Italy, but with the company now under the helm of Audi, we will have to start looking to Germany for the major announcements. Case in point is the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show where today Ducati officially pulled the covers off its new 899 Panigale, revealing a new “Supermid” version of the 1199 Panigale using the same monocoque frame concept and Superquadro 90-degree V-Twin engine design. Las Vegas Premier Motorcycle Auction Nets $4.1 Million
Tue, 17 Jan 2012Buyers spent $4.1 million on rare motorcycles at the inaugural Las Vegas Premier Motorcycle Auction by Auctions America. The auction, held Jan. 12-14 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, featured 490 motorcycles and other memorabilia.
2011 Ducati Diavel Recalled for Weak Kickstands
Wed, 17 Aug 2011Ducati issued a recall for the Diavel because of weak kickstands. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side stands on the 2011 Ducati Diavel was not manufactured with sufficient material at the pivot point. Under certain circumstances, the stand may bend and possibly break at the pivot area, causing a resting Diavel to tip over.
