The Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) returns for 2013 featuring the Troy Bayliss Academy. The DRE celebrates its 10th year in 2013 with 12 dates at some of the Italy’s most famous tracks. The DRE not only provides instruction for everyone from the beginner rider to the track day specialist but also the opportunity to ride Ducati motorcycles.

This looks more like Rossi

At Brno today Valentino Rossi had a positive session in free practice, finishing closer and within half a second of the fastest time set by Dani Pedrosa. With a best of 1:57.315 and only .457 off Pedrosa's 1:56.858 lap. But it's not just the time that is encouraging, it's the first time in a long while that Rossi has looked more like his old self on the Desmosedici. "I’m happy because we went pretty well today, and in particular, the gap to the front makes us fairly optimistic," Rossi said after free practice.

1199R: wrapped and ready

Here's a pic from inside the Ducati factory in Bologna. These Ducati 1199R Panigales are destined for the USA; the bikes are being shipped to Texas for the 1199R launch at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA). The picture above reminds me of the picture on the right, which was one of the first wallpapers I had on my PC way back in 1997.
